TLI’s school year is divided into two terms: September to January and February to June. In drawing up the annual programme we take school holidays into account.
The subject-matter for each course is determined by the particular needs of the students in the group and the goals that have been agreed. In practice, the focus will be on secondary education and remedial lessons, helping students to catch up on Dutch language skills.
We want our students to enjoy learning to keep them interested and motivated and to look forward to their lessons. Our materials and methods reflect this.
If a student appears to be struggling in any way, additional lessons can be made available. These extra sessions will be provided on a one-to-one basis and are specifically designed for the student, thus highly effective in bringing him or her up to speed.
